History

Fluid Productions was started by Mathieu Benoit in 2007 as a means to manage the growing demand in the area for high quality composition and other musical services such as production and accompaniment. The goal was to create a network of musicians from all across the Atlantic Provinces that would be able to suit the needs of any client looking for production services. With 15 years in the industry as a touring musician, he was eventually able to bring together accomplished musicians in virtually any style.

In 2010, Fluid Productions and Fluid Audio Group became more integrated with Mathieu becoming the studio manager for Fluid Audio Group. This combination of talent and resources connects a well established network of some of the best musicians on the east coast of Canada with one of the best equipped studios in the area.

With the merger of these two companies, clients could be assured that their projects are of highest quality, with remarkably quick turnarounds.

Rates

The needs of our clients vary, as do their budgets and project requirements. We recommend that you please contact us for a quote based on your specific requirements. Please note that all projects billed from Fluid Productions will include HST.

Policies

Fluid Productions may require a non-refundable deposit in cases where additional session musicians are required. The terms of this deposit will be negotiated before the commencement of any work.

In cases where the music produced will be set to motion picture, a sync agreement must be signed before distribution of the master. If a cue sheet is required, a copy of the cue sheet should be provided to Fluid Productions prior to its filing with Socan. The filing of the cue sheet with Socan will remain the sole responsibly of the film producer.
